Pavel Emelyanov 9a97e0ca35 criu: Version 2.4 
This time we have a bunch of new features, such as more
cgroup stuff, AutoFS, coredump out of images, etc.

Virtuozzo guys have released vz7-rtm, and fixed a lot
of bugs in criu while doing it :)

Plus some ancient stuff removed.

CRIU (Checkpoint and Restore in Userspace)

An utility to checkpoint/restore tasks. Using this tool, you can freeze a running application (or part of it) and checkpoint it to a hard drive as a collection of files. You can then use the files to restore and run the application from the point it was frozen at. The distinctive feature of the CRIU project is that it is mainly implemented in user space.
